Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using itin.so ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and customers of the itin.so website and ITIN application service.

Service Description

itin.so provides ITIN (Individual Taxpayer Identification Number) application preparation and submission services for non-US residents. Our service includes W-7 form preparation, document review, identity document certification through IRS-authorized Certifying Acceptance Agents, and submission of your completed application to the IRS. We act as a preparation and submission service. We are not the IRS, and we do not guarantee IRS approval of any application.

User Responsibilities

When using our service, you agree to the following:

• You will provide accurate, complete, and truthful information on all forms and documents submitted through our service.
• You will provide valid, unaltered copies of your passport and any other identity or tax documents we request.
• You understand that submitting false or fraudulent information to the IRS is a federal offense and may result in penalties, fines, or criminal prosecution.
• You will respond to our requests for additional information or documents in a timely manner to avoid delays in your application.
• You are at least 18 years of age, or you have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to use this service.

Payment Terms

We offer two service tiers:

• Standard Service: $197. Application preparation in 7-10 business days.
• Express Service: $297. Application preparation in 2-3 business days with priority handling, direct WhatsApp support, and a money-back guarantee.

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Prices are in US dollars. Payment is required at the time you submit your application.

Refund Policy

All payments are non-refundable once we begin processing your application, with the following exception:

Express Service Money-Back Guarantee: if you purchased the Express service and the IRS declines your ITIN application due to an error in our preparation, you are entitled to a full refund. This guarantee does not apply to rejections caused by inaccurate or incomplete information provided by you, issues with your supporting documents, changes in IRS policy or requirements after submission, or any other reason outside our control.

IRS Processing Disclaimer

After we submit your completed application to the IRS, processing times are determined entirely by the IRS. Current IRS processing times for ITIN applications are typically 6 to 11 weeks, but may vary. We have no control over IRS processing times, delays, or decisions. We do not guarantee that the IRS will approve your application or process it within any specific timeframe. Our service covers the preparation and submission of your application. Once submitted to the IRS, the outcome is outside our control.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, itin.so and its owners, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our service. This includes, but is not limited to, damages related to IRS processing delays, application rejections for reasons beyond our control, loss of business opportunities, or any other losses resulting from reliance on our service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or our service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us for that service.

Intellectual Property

All content on the itin.so website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of itin.so and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written consent. The itin.so name and logo are our trademarks. Nothing in these terms grants you any right to use our trademarks without our permission.

Termination

We reserve the right to refuse service, suspend, or terminate your account at our discretion if we believe you have violated these terms, provided false or fraudulent information, or engaged in any activity that may harm our service or other users. If we terminate your service before your application has been submitted to the IRS, you may be entitled to a refund at our discretion. If your application has already been submitted to the IRS, no refund will be issued.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.
